HOCKEY: Oxford Hawks were beaten 3-1 at home by a determined Tulse Hill & Dulwich side on Saturday.
The visitors had the upper hand in the first 10 minutes, but Oxford went ahead through a Dave Cresswell short corner. Thereafter the hosts conceded a soft goal at the far post at it was all square at the interval.
The second half was similar with the Hawks lacking the aggresion they have showed this season. Tulse Hill scored two further goals in open play, and Oxford squandered several late chances to force a draw or snatch an unlikely win.
On Saturday the Hawks travel to Lewes for what could be a promotion decider.
