Bratt excels in Bahrain

Will Bratt continued his promising start to the GP2 Asia Series at the Bahrain International Circuit today, posting a top 20 finish.

The Banbury racer came 16th on his race debut at the Sakhir track during a highly competitive fifth round of the campaign.  Driving for the Party Poker Racing.com Scuderia Coloni team, the 21-year-old made an outstanding start to the 34-lap race from the 10th row of the grid.

Bradley Smith heads to first test ahead of MotoGP season

British MotoGP star Bradley Smith kicks off his 2010 campaign today with his first test of the season in Barcelona.

Smith (right), who was runner up in last year’s 125cc World Championship, will be riding the Bancaja Aprilia in a two-day test in Spail.

Bratt enjoys mixed fortunes in GP2 Asia Series

Banbury rookie racer Will Bratt enjoyed mixed fortunes in the latest rounds of the GP2 Asia Series in Abu Dhabi this weekend.

The 21-year-old produced an impressive, battling display to make his way up from 22nd on the grid to finish 12th in the third round of the competition on Friday night, but was forced to retire from Saturday’s fourth round with only a handful of laps remaining on the cusp of a top 10 finish.

Bratt itching to get back on track in GP2 Series

Banbury’s Will Bratt returns to action on the track in eight days for rounds three and four of the GP2 Asia Series in Abu Dhabi.

The highly rated young driver has had a three-month lay-off since the last round of the event at the Yas Marina venue in November, and Bratt is itching to get back to competitive action.
