Old Woodstock Town were knocked out of the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup in midweek with a 3-1 defeat to Thatcham Town.

The Evo-Stik Southern South & West side opened the scoring through David Cameron, with striker James Clarke helping himself to a brace of goals.  Danny Bone struck a consolation penalty for Woodstock late on but the Hellenic Premier side were well beaten.

Also in action in the only Hellenic Premier league game of the week, Thame United beat visitors Abingdon Town 2-0.  Daniel West and Stephen Meredith were both on target for Thame on a bitterly cold evening.

Oxford City Nomads will host Binfield at Court Place Farm in the semi-final of the AM Print & Copy Floodlit Cup after the Berkshire side beat Flackwell Heath 3-2 to progress.

Binfield went in at half time 2-0 up through a James Suarez double but were pegged back by second half strikes for Riccardo Cannon and Danny Jordan. Stuart Tanfield scored his third goal in two games struck late on to seal Binfield's place in the semi final.  The winner of the semi final will take on Shortwood or one of Maidenhead United reserves or Rayners Lane in the final.

The cursed Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy quarter final between Wantage Town and Holyport was called off for the third consecutive week due to bad weather, and has been re-scheduled for February 7 when fans and players alike will be hoping it is fourth time lucky.
