Adderbury residents are being asked their views in a review of the village's conservation area.
Cherwell District Council launched a four-week consultation on proposals on Monday, November 21. The village’s centre was designated a conservation area in 1975 to preserve its architecture and historical character.
This will be the third review of one of the district's largest conservation areas in 36 years. Councillor Michael Gibbard, Cherwell’s lead member for planning, said: “It is important that everyone in Adderbury has a chance to comment on the conservation area. It will be used to influence development in the village for years to come to I’d urge everyone to have their say.”
The draft appraisal proposes additional areas for inclusion in the conservation area and the removal of some which are already part of it. It is available to view at Adderbury and Banbury Libraries and Bodicote House until the consultation closes on Friday, December 16.
