East Oxford burglaries may be linked, say police

Police believe two burglaries in East Oxford in the past two weeks may be linked.

Officers have appealed for witnesses to both break-ins which took place in Marshall Road, Cowley.  In the first incident, burglars smashed a kitchen window sometime between 10.30am on November 19 and 9pm on November 20 and stole a HP laptop, a Dell Laptop, and a Microsoft Xbox 360.

In the second break-in, the victim heard unexplained loud noises coming from upstairs at about 11.15pm. When they went upstairs to investigate, they discovered an open bedroom window. Nothing had been moved or stolen.  Anyone with information should call police on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
