Police appeal after three burglaries in south of county

Police are appealing for information after three burglaries in South Oxfordshire.

A house was broken into in Mead Walk in Didcot overnight on September 5 and 6, and a blue Ford KA stolen from the drive, along with a handbag.  Offenders also stole laptops, a camera and a wallet from a house in Nuns Acre, Goring.

And some time between 11am on Thursday, September 2, and 10.30am on Saturday, September 4, thieves stole jewellery, computer equipment and a blue Mercedes from a house in Cromwell Road in Henley.

Det Sgt Mark Brashaw, investigating the incidents, said: “We believe all three burglaries are linked.  I ask residents to make sure they take their car keys to bed with them and put them in a safe place to prevent themselves from becoming a victim of this type of crime.”
