Three jailed for Barton doorstep shooting

Three men have been sentenced to a total of 30 years’ behind bars after pleading guilty to carrying out a doorstep shooting in Barton last year.

Dominic Wooloff, of Pauling Road, Headington, and Aaron Peters of Cardigan Street, both aged 19, and Daniel Annis, of Chillingworth Crescent, Headington, 23, were sentenced at Oxford Crown Court to 10 years each for the attempted murder of drug dealer Ronald Glover at his Brampton Road home on April 21.

Stolen Boss reunited with owners

A puppy stolen during an Oxford burglary has been reunited with its owners.  Police recovered Boss, a 13-week old Staffordshire Bull Terrier, on Wednesday (March 10), three days after he was stolen from a home in Trefoil Place, Greater Leys.

Teenage girl 'bottled' in Carterton park row

A 16-year-old girl was assaulted in a Carterton park on Saturday, March 6.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened shortly before midnight when the girl was in the Alvescot Road park with friends.

The girl alleges she got in an argument with another girl, who hit her around the head with a bottle.

Banbury man charged with murder after stairwell death

A Banbury man has been charged with murder after a second man found with serious head injuries at the bottom of a stairwell died in hospital.

Antony Bebbington, 24, of Ruscote Arcade, Longelandes Way, was charged by police last night (Wednesday, March 10), and is due to appear before Banbury Magistrates’ Court today.

Man found with serious injuries in Banbury arcade stairwell

A 25-year-old man was found at the bottom of a stairwell with serious injuries at an arcade in Banbury on Monday, March 8.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident, after officers were called to the Ruscote Arcade Shops in Longelandes Way at around 11.10pm.
