Housing firm lets young people take over

Oxfordshire housing association Soha Housing is inviting jobless teenagers to take over the company on November 11.

The firm, which celebrated October’s National Customer Services Week by training  jobless young people in customer care, will put young people in charge of developing a community action plan for one of its estates.

Soha Housing's Maureen Adams said: “We’re confident that they will bring a fresh and unique perspective and really engage with residents. This project will have funds allocated to the improvements so we will make sure we put their vision into action.”
