The Oxford Journal is a weekly newspaper. The paper is sent to press on Tuesday evening and is out on Thursday.
Deadline if you are supplying your own artwork:
Your artwork must be submitted to us by 12noon on Tuesday the week of publication.
Deadline if we are setting your advert for you:
The copy for your advert must be submitted to us by 5pm on Monday the week of publication.
Sizes
When you book an advert with us, the size of it will be worked out in centimetres for depth and columns for the width. For example a half page advert is called an '18x9', because it is 18cm deep and 9 columns wide. Below is a list of the column widths so you can work out the exact size of your advert.

Setting up your artwork
When supplying artwork for you advert it should be set up as:
- Dead size - no bleed or crop marks necessary
- CMYK - artwork supplied as RGB may not print as expected
Acceptable artwork formats
We can accept artwork in the following formats;
- PDF - with all fonts embedded (preferred format)
- JPEG / TIFF - rasterised at 300dpi
- EPS - all fonts outlined and pictures embedded
Sending your artwork
You can send your artwork to us by:
- Adfast - find us on Adfast under 'Oxford Journal'
- Email - email your artwork to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
- Website Upload - use the form below to upload your artwork to our system
