History of the Oxford Journal
The Oxford Journal was launched in 1973 and is the oldest free newspaper in Oxfordshire, and of the very first free newspapers in the country.
Today it is still a pioneering publication thanks to a complete overhaul and redesign in 2007, and the amalgamation of the Oxfordshire Courier newspaper at the start of 2008.
The ultra-modern and user-friendly Oxford Journal is now better than ever!
Distribution
37,500 copies of the Journal are printed every week, of which 10,000 are delivered door-to-door in carefully selected areas of the county, and the rest are delivered to 317 pick-up points across the county.
